Flower Friday!

My dad loved taking pictures of flowers and bugs. I'm going through literally hundreds of pictures from his garden, and every few Fridays, I'll post some flower pics. Here's a typical example from the 1990s. I'm no gardener, so I couldn't tell you what it is. I have no idea why he was drawn to bugs and flowers, but he would sit for hours waiting for an insect to land in the right spot. IMG_0013

  1. That's a beautiful photo, John!
The large purple flower is an anemone, near as I can tell. The reddish flowers with yellow centres are primroses (also called primula) and the little blue flowers are forget-me-not.
