Tahsis Take Off
In the fall of 1971, my dad spent a few months working out in Tahsis. He was hired to install the electrical wiring in the new school being built, but he obviously had some time to take some pictures. Here's a series of shots of a BC Air plane taking off.

State of the Art
From a 1969 plane-spotting trip to Dorval (now Trudeau) International Airport, the state of the art of Air Canada's fleet.
Well, no, not really. It's a Vickers Viscount, the last prop plane that Air Canada had in service, the last one being retired in 1974.
